RECRUITING DIRECTOR
Trans-United, Inc. is currently seeking a Recruiting Manager. Duties include: recruiting Drivers, Owner Operators, and Sales Agents, fielding incoming recruiting calls, cold calling potential leads, development of advertising strategies, planning recruiting events, improving current recruiting methods, and managing the recruiting department to achieve monthly and annual truck count goals, monthly reporting and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications for this position include, previous management experience, proven recruiting skills, a strong commitment to SAFETY, detail orientated, able to speak clearly and concisely, and have strong communication skills. This individual must be self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and be driven to succeed. Knowledge of specialized or over dimensional loads a plus.
Education

SAFETY DIRECTOR
Trans-United, Inc. is currently seeking a Safety Director. The Safety Director is responsible for ensuring the business operates within the safety and financial guidelines determined by the President. Duties include overseeing all aspects of safety, recruiting and retention, as well as providing the necessary supervisory leadership to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the activities of all personnel reporting to this position.
The Director of Safety reports directly to the President.
The Director of Safety has direct authority over the following:
- Recruiting Personnel.
- Driver Service s Personnel.
- Support staff of department.
- Drivers of T-U.
Education Required: The individual filling the position of Director of Safety should have a Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university and one to two years equivalent work experience.
Experience Required: This individual should have at least five (5) years of experience in a transportation related environment and five (5) years managerial experience in a transportation related business.
Authority: The Director of Safety has full authority over all of Safety activities of the company, and is delegated all the authority necessary to successfully complete the positions requirements, is responsible and accountable for the safe operating results of the company.
