At our first safety meeting of the year, Indiana DOT Officer Fleming spoke on violations and inspections.
Initially, Officer Fleming walked through a power point of violations issued by DOT Officers ranging from bad airlines to faulty securement. Officer Fleming then performed a full inspection on a tractor and trailer while being accompanied by Trans-United drivers who were able to ask questions and create clarity on anything that allows them to best maintain equipment and get clean inspections.
