Meet Randell and Jacob Wallace who are a father and son duo that is now on its fourth generation of professional truck drivers.
Jacob (son, right) is a company driver that joined us a few months back and based on his recommendation to his father, Randell(left) brought on his 2015 Freightliner Cascadia to run with us.
Not many kids get to grow up learning to be successful in a profession from the generation before, but when it does happen you can see how much better the next generation is for it. Jacob is an excellent driver who is safe, runs his clock very efficiently and is a pleasure to be around. Because of this we were excited to bring his father on knowing we would be adding a quality driver to our fleet which is a wonderful thing for our customers!
Jacob recently joined the team at the Truckers Jamboree at the Worlds Largest Truckstop in Walcott, IA. Jacob was chosen to represent T-U because of his positive attitude and his enthusiasm towards the brand new Western Star 4900 SB truck he is driving. The truck was a hit, people love to see a truck look as good as our fleet trucks but also be a working over the road truck.
